Abdul Bedi is a traditional Indian thin-shelled almond variety. “Kagzi” derives from kagaz — paper in Hindi — referring to the paper-thin shell that makes this almond easy to crack and delivers a smooth, slightly sweet kernel. It is grown in India and is recognised for its delicate texture compared to thicker-shelled imported varieties.

A standard serving is approximately 23 almonds (28g), which provides around 165 kcal, 6g protein, 14g fat, and 6g carbohydrates.
Store in an airtight container in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. At room temperature, these stay fresh for up to 60 days. Almonds contain natural oils that can go rancid in heat or humidity — refrigeration extends shelf life noticeably if you are storing a larger quantity.
