Common Questions
Frequently Asked
Mamra almonds (Prunus dulcis var. mamra) are premium Iranian almonds — smaller and irregular in shape, with approximately 55–60% fat content, higher than the ~50% in commercial California almonds.
Mamra almonds are hand-harvested, sun-dried, and higher in oil content (~55–60%) than California almonds (~50%). California almonds are farmed, machine-harvested, and commercially pasteurised. Mamra has a distinctly nuttier, more intense taste.
Soaking 8–10 almonds overnight and eating them peeled the next morning is a common traditional practice. They can also be eaten raw, lightly roasted, or ground into flour.
Store in an airtight container in a cool, dry place for up to 60 days. Refrigeration extends shelf life further. High oil content means they are more susceptible to rancidity if exposed to heat or moisture.
Available in 250g, 500g and 1kg packs — see the current price above.
Contact us within 3 days of delivery for a full refund or replacement if you're not satisfied with freshness or quality. To maintain hygiene, we do not replace opened packs. The original packaging must be intact.

Mamra pricing varies by pack size (250g/500g/1kg) and reflects its premium hand-harvested, high-oil-content sourcing from Iran — higher than commercial almonds. See the live price above for the current rate and unit price per 100g to compare pack sizes.
