Sindhi Dry Fruits has been a Delhi-based food business since 1939. Every product we sell on this Store is sourced, processed, packed, and dispatched in full compliance with the Food Safety and Standards Act, 2006 and the regulations issued under it by the Food Safety and Standards Authority of India (FSSAI).

The FSSAI licence number is printed on every retail pack, on every shipping invoice, and is displayed in our facility as required by Section 31 of the Food Safety and Standards Act, 2006.

Our processing and packing facility is certified to ISO 22000:2018 - Food Safety Management Systems. ISO 22000 is the international standard for food-safety management. Certification covers:

• Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points (HACCP) across the receiving, sorting, drying, packing, and dispatch lines
• Documented prerequisite programmes for cleaning, pest control, personnel hygiene, and traceability
• Annual third-party audit by an accredited certification body
• Continuous improvement against documented food-safety objectives

Every retail pack carries the manufacturer / packer name and address as required under the Legal Metrology (Packaged Commodities) Rules, 2011 and the FSS (Labelling & Display) Regulations 2020:

Every product pack we sell carries, at minimum, the labelling information mandated by the Food Safety and Standards (Labelling and Display) Regulations, 2020:

• Product name and category
• Complete ingredient list in descending order of weight
• Allergen declaration in bold text (where applicable - tree nuts, milk, soy, etc.)
• Nutritional information per 100 g and per serve, including Energy, Carbohydrates, Total Sugars, Added Sugars, Protein, Total Fat, Saturated Fat, Trans Fat, Sodium
• Saturated Fat, Total Sugar, and Sodium are highlighted in bold and larger font per the FSSAI 2022 amendment
• Vegetarian or non-vegetarian symbol (green or brown filled circle)
• FSSAI logo and licence number in contrast colour
• Net weight (g)
• Maximum Retail Price (MRP) inclusive of all taxes
• Manufacturer / packer name and address
• Country of origin (and country of import where applicable)
• Date of manufacture / packing
• Best-before date
• Batch number or lot number for traceability
• Storage instructions
• Consumer-care contact details

Nutritional information on every pack is calculated per 100 g and per serve, with the percent Recommended Dietary Allowance (RDA) shown alongside where applicable, in line with the FSSAI nutrition labelling format. Where a product carries an FSSAI High in Fat, Sugar or Salt (HFSS) attribute under the latest amendments, this is disclosed clearly on pack and on the product page on this Store.

Tree nuts (almonds, cashews, pistachios, walnuts, pecans, hazelnuts, macadamia) are themselves common allergens, and we treat them as such. We disclose:

• All allergens contained in the product, in bold within the ingredient list
• "May contain traces of" warnings where cross-contamination is possible due to shared processing lines (peanuts, dairy, soy, gluten)

If you have a severe allergy, please read the pack carefully and consult your physician before consuming. We cannot be held responsible for allergic reactions where the relevant allergen is declared on pack and the customer chose to consume.

Every retail pack carries a unique batch / lot number. From this batch number we can trace:

• Source supplier and country of origin of the raw nuts or fruit
• Date and lot of incoming receipt at our facility
• Lab-test results for aflatoxin, pesticide residue, moisture, and microbiological parameters
• Processing and packing line, shift, and supervisor
• Date of dispatch

In the event of any food-safety concern, we can identify and recall affected stock within hours. Records are retained for the period required under FSSAI rules.

Please retain the pack and batch number until our team has investigated. We will respond within 24 working hours, investigate the root cause, and offer a replacement or full refund where the complaint is upheld.
